<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I am a URM and I hoping to transfer to one of these schools that i was rejected from Freshman year. I think i go rejected b/c my essay could have been better ( thats what I get for listening to my friends and brother)..I didn't spend much time on them because i thought.. well lets just say he convince me that good essay or not id be a sure bet...obviously not lol..if anyone could evaluate my chances that would be great.</p>

<p>I am considering a career in Finance so i am looking at Penn Wharton, Cornell AEM, Harvard (rejected as Freshman), Yale (rejected as Freshman), Stanford (rejected as Freshman), Dartmouth, MIT (unlikely)</p>

<p>Although you are African-American (which is great for top schools), you have obviously had the resources to get high test scores and solid gpas; consequently, i think this will work against you when it comes to applying for Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. I think you have a solid chance at Cornell AEM and maybe Dartmouth; everything else is slim/unlikely.</p>

<p>^^ def agree ... I think you have a good shot but your stats dont look any different from any other CHYMPS applicant...But i still think you should apply to all the places you listed ...Good luck</p>

<p>Hahaha, my dad should know some...but unfortunately he doesn't....hes not hanging around the right crowd (Adcoms)</p>

<p>hey, I have a question for j-money. I'm thinking of transferring to U chicago. I was wondering how hard it really is. everybody makes out to be like its soooo hard and stuff. Obviously, you have a good gpa and stuff. O and I would be doing econ as well.</p>
