<p>I know it's the general consensus that being URM/first-generation does help out, at least a little, at most private universities for freshman admissions. </p>

<p>I was just curious if there is any boost being URM/first-generation in transfer admissions as well?</p>

<p>Depends on where you go. Most universities are going away from affirmative action but that’s not to say that all are.</p>
