The difference is that I have to pay 3.4k more to attend UVa.

btw: I already sent the UR deposit couple days ago, but I am now second guessing myself. Can I still pick UVa if I regret my decision? Or is it too late?

please help

UVA is one of few Public schools that I really admire.

However, I happen to love my school more and may be a little biased. But to be real honest with you, Rochester is a great school. The students are happy here (even with the really big misconception about the cold). The open curriculum is extremely attractive, especially for premeds who may not want to be forced to take classes that they feel might mess up their GPA. The school is small (9:1 teacher to student ration) but has all the advantage of the research of a big University.

This place is a premed heaven. Undergraduates have unlimited opportunities to get started in research as soon as possible. My freshman hallmate is already working with a chemistry prof. The Medical Center is literally accross the street from the campus and this is very convienient for premeds. It is a non competitive environment and people are extremely nice.

Of course UVA has things to boast about too so consider all sides too. My advice is this: What is it that made you decide on Rochester in the first place? Don’t underestmate you intuition. Every body goes through the what if feeling at some point.

Good luck!
