Urop

So for UROP decisions, is there a preference for work study compensation over credit? And have many people heard on a decision? Have people in the past received acceptances before whatever else there is?

I received my acceptance today. They don’t really look at the work study vs. credit factor, I don’t think. I don’t quite understand your last sentence…

What I’m asking is I have not yet heard from UMich and I was wondering if this might mean my application was declined considering everyone I know has heard and was accepted.

If you applied before May 31st, people have started hearing already but it could you could hear up until June 18. It just takes a while for them to process the applications and send out email notifications. You should not worry until then.

Has anybody been rejected yet though?

rockbiter: are you being compensated through wok study or credit?

I don’t think they reject people. It’s either you’ve been admitted or waitlisted. I’m going the credit route.

Well I’m gonna bet on being waitlisted then. They closed the priority deadline today due to an abundance of applications.
