where would the money be cut from? because i there’s no way they’re cutting tuition… hell, they’re voting in a few months on whether or not to increase tuition by 30%.
the only other place they could cut costs would be through housing, and, so far as i can see, the housing payment schedule / amounts seem pretty solidified.

<p>Yah I think the idea here is that the way they originally estimated everyone’s cost was somehow aiming for the maximum (perhaps living in a single room with 19P meal plan). So the actual cost would be lower if you choose housing and meals cheaper than that. That’s my explanation because I don’t know how they exactly get that $26k expense from lol.</p>
<p>Tuition + fees + most expensive housing plan + textbooks + personal expenses = $26k</p>
<p>If you don’t include textbooks/expenses, waive SHIP and go with the cheapest housing plan (which is $6k less than the highest), the total cost is a lot lower.</p>
