Ursa update!

Yes, you can get the forms here: [UCLA Financial Aid Office - Forms | Petitions | Verification Forms](http://www.fao.ucla.edu/forms.html) and depending whether or not you’re dependent or independent, you mail those in along with your tax returns and make sure you have copies of your original W-2 forms. I received a letter from Shirley today asking me for them. -_-

**UCLA has created unnecessary stress for me.

My status is incomplete, but I want to wait until I see my actual acceptance before doing anything about it. But . . . do you think having an incomplete financial aid status (even though I can still see my financial aid info) going to SLOW DOWN my acceptance?

my document tracking says additional financial information form is missing. I guess I should call tomorrow. What do you do if they ask you whether or not you are admitted??? Won;t they know I’m a transfer and not yet admitted? or will they just think I’m a freshman?

IM nervous!! hope they will update mine soon

CBB and rocklee are joshing is …

cutesterlove – just out of curiosity and because I see people add 10 char at the end of their posts… what does that mean? Haha.

^ I want to ask that question too… LOL

you have to post at least 10 characters or more, and my thanks! was not enough, so we just put 10 char to fill it up :)

vmason – they can see if you’re a transfer or a freshman with your UID number right away.

FeeFee34 – I don’t think that not sending in your fin aid documents papers will slow down your acceptance, but it will probably slow down your ePAL.

whats weird is i can see all my FIN AID but i cant see what you guys are talking about…and when i look it says because either they havent received my fafsa (which cant be right since i see it under the check ursa for FIN AID status) and it says if its not because we havent received it its because you have not given your SIR yet so it cant be processed until then

it’s to satisfy the 10 character minimum on a post.

‘yes’ is only 3.
‘no’ is onlly 2…
you get it…

^ mine is the same

errr

I’m an anthro major too and my fafsa says COMPLETED, but I can’t see mine … :(

rocklee, what are you stats?

Nickelbocker, I see the exact same thing you do. Is your financial aid status incomplete, though? That might also be why it says they have not “received” the FAFSA (even though they obviously did, since they were able to calculate my parents’ contribution and the like).

no it says that mine is completed so the only thing I can think is that I wont be awarded any money, ill just be given loans…which is what i expected but id unno what do you think?

@ nicklebocker…

no way… i’ll definitely be receiving grants… mine says completed too.

i guess ucla is different this year…
last year no one saw the ePAL thingy (i believe)
they only saw the finaid summary…

maybe we should just chill…and that they’re updating it slowly right now…haha

haha… hope so!!

yeah its weird…everyone first was set on if you see FIN AID your in…but now theres like 3 different places to view you aid so everyone is skeptical because some can view some but not others lol what a migrane.
