US CC transfer?

I was born in Quebec and have dual citizenship but haven't lived in Canada since childhood. I graduated from HS in California and am starting to take CC classes out here. I love Montreal and think McGill could potentially be a good fit. I got good grades at a competitive high school (with lots of APs) and have straight As so far in my CC classes. Of course, the other benefit would be the Canadian tuition! :)

How difficult/rare is it to transfer from an American CC to a good Canadian school like McGill or University of Toronto? As in the US, is the normal transfer "time" as an incoming junior?

Also, could I conceivably enter as U2 if I have a year of full-time study at a CC (with the admission requirements for a BA) + 30 ap credits (euro, bio, art bistory and both English exams with 4/5)? As in could I just do one more full year of CC and then finish my undergrad in just 2 years at McGill (with AP courses as my U0 and cc as my U1, hypothetically)?

Yes, I read that but am still wondering what the best course of action would be. I’ve taken 4 community college courses this year (the only ones I’ve taken since graduating high school). Perhaps my best bet would just be forgetting about these courses and applying as a freshman next year…seems like I have a much better chance at admission that way. I think I’d just retake the SAT to get my math score a bit higher…anyone here have any recent stories of Americans applying to McGill? Tips?

Edit to add: more info for chances
