Hello I am an international applicant with Indian Citizenship.
I have been accepted to Purdue University in Indiana and The University of British Columbia in Vancouver. I have been accepted to both for the major of Mechanical Engineering.
However I aim to work or study in the US after under graduation.
Which university do you think I should lean towards based on job opportunity after under graduation? How easy is it to study in UBC and get a job in the US? Which university should I be preferring?
Thank You.
UBC for undergrad. Canada has much more favorable work permission for international students while they are studying and after they graduate.
Then, when you have a couple of years worth of solid work experience in Canada, and some money saved up to help pay for it, go to the US for grad school. Your chances of getting a long-term work visa here are much better after completing grad school here. After an undergrad degree, even as an engineer, the chances for a long term visa are just about zero.
Stop posting everywhere. Now you are asking about Canada. In other posts you claim to have been accepted by Stanford, Harvard, Imperial College etc. You must be bored.
Where have you really been accepted?
I’ve checked your other threads; you say you’ve been accepted to Purdue Calumet, or Penn State, or you want to transfer to either, or something or the other.
