US High School Student - What are my chances?

<p>GPA: 3.85 UW (my school doesn’t do weighted)
ACT: 31 and 8 writing, 33 no writing
EC: A few sports, some time in Student Government, Floor Director of the school TV show, and state runner up in Speech and Debate.</p>

<p>I’m from the U.S. and am in IB. 7 IB classes, 1 elective, and a few community college credits. I’ll graduate in 2011 and i’m really looking into UBC for college. I should graduate as one of the top 10 (or at least top 20) kids in my class of around 400 students (not a percentile).</p>

<p>What are my chances of getting into the Faculty of Arts at UBC, specifically the Vancouver campus? Will I be able to get any financial aid?</p>

<p>Very good chance of getting in!
However, you will have a hard time getting much money from UBC.</p>

<p>If financial aid is an issue, you may have to consider loans .</p>
