US History-Barraon's?

I got the book but is it enough for the test?I mean,I've never studied American history in such details,so I'm really worried about my score. Can I find the answer of every question in this book?

yea i think so. I've heard that barron's prep books r good. i'm not sure about history, but they make the practice tests a little harder than the real ones, so if u do well on the practice tests then u'll do well on the real test.

My friend used that book. It's good because it breaks up the presidencies up which is very helpful. I didn't really review for the USH book. Doing the tests is review enough. Good luck!

Barrons was a piece of ****. It is ridiculously hard and I ended up missing 10 or more on each test, even though I'm the top in my APUSH class. Also, the review was mainly political while the June test was almost all social, which screwed me over as I almost memorized the Barrons book. In the end, I got a 790 :(

Yea I didn't think the Barron's US history book was helpful either. The whole idea about breaking it up into presidencies, I hate that. There's always a lot of questions on changes with time and trends and the Barron's book neglects those aspects and each section really isn't that detailed. Go with AMSCO or one of the AP US History books.

Just use the APUSH amsco book, the Barrons is useless

My friend has the U.S Barrons and i was looking it through it. Its really good breaks everything down..If you study the whole book your be good for the test....Is Barrons Lit book good??

..........

Ditto on AMSCO. It breaks down the events by major periods and has review questions at the end of every section so you're tackling US History bit by bit not engorging 400+ years of history in one bite.

Barrons is good, but it's a bit thick. I got the book, but I only read a few pages from it.

I got a 720. Also, I got a 4 on the AP test.

I used the Cracking the AP US History Exam book and attended AP review sessions to study for the US History subject test.

Check to see if PR has a US History subject test book. Their books usually help me.

You should also check AMSCO. I heard it's good.
