How is sparknotes as a resource for prep?
self studying

Spark Notes is great by itself and is perfect when used in conjunction with another reputable study source such as AMSCO.

Good book. Covers what you need.

I used AMSCO for the AP test (great book) and now I am using the practice tests in the collegeboards official guide for World and U.S. history.

by itself though, will it prepare me for the test

For self-study no. But if you’ve had a pretty good history class, preferably AP, it’s good.

the thing is though it seems to be comprehensive
how much different is it than amsco, etc

^it’s basically a condensed form of AMSCO. I’m reviewing sparknotes with amsco, and it’s all basically the same…just amsco has a bit more detail and is more comprehensive. like it explains stuff better…

thanks

10 char

I used AMSCO for both AP and SAT II, as well as for my regular class.

By the way Carey, Habs fan?

yeah haha first person to recognize

Im thinking about changing to this.

If I can get like 70/80s on practice AP exams, what will that be like for SAT US?

Let’s go Pens!

1232 I think you’ll be in good shape. I felt that APUSH was slightly harder than the SAT II.
