<p>I'm curious if medical schools and/or residencies have study abroad-type programs, where you study/practice medicine in a foreign country for part of a year. I remember a neurosurgeon telling me about how he spent 6 months in England during his residency to gain a better perspective on how medicine is practiced in different countries. It sounds like it would be a great experience, especially for someone like me who has never traveled overseas.</p>
<p>If anyone can help me find information on these programs, I would appreciate it.</p>
