Yes we must. Who the HELL wants to go to CalTech (they sent me stuff...I'm like pshaw, I'm not going unless you have a top 10 finance department-even if you offer a scholarship) anyways? If I had those kinds of grades, I'd go to Wharton.

Do you think Tulane is going to drop or rise, since the hurricane hit? What do you all think?

Sadly, it'll probably drop even though the last accepted class ('09/'10 architecture) had the best stats of any accepted class ever. I think the admissions rate dropped from like 45% to 32% or something ridiculous like that last year. Now with engineering being cut, I can't imagine Tulane going up even though in my opinion it should.
Maybe it's my personal bias (like everyone else here with their school), but I got an easy 3.5 at Brown when I went there. . .I'm struggling with a 2.5 at Tulane.

I think the top of the list (HYP) will probably stay the same. Wash U might climb up more. I think the Duke, Stanford, MIT, Caltech range can change. But Penn will probably remain at 4th. Columbia will probably remain at 9th.

Northeastern is on an upward trend. Based on the stats of last fall's class (best ever), it should move up in the rankings. Northeastern also added 35 new tenure track professors as part of a overall plan to add 100 new profs by 2008. This should lower the school's student/faculty ratio and average class size.
