...a huge amount of space available for hobos to live on.

yes. and it doesn't have the snobbery of ucla.

I thought Cal was ranked significantly higher than UCLA? With more selective acceptance ratings? And TOP engineering, business, etc. programs? And the most top-ten doctoral programs?

So then what makes UCLA so much better? The cute buildings? haha

By more selective acceptance rate you mean that 1% difference?

All those same things can be said about UCLA anyways.

Academically they are both on Par in my opinion, UCLA exceeds in looks and social life.

UCLA is the popular girl with the brains and looks.

Cal is the ugly smart girl.

lol, so nobody actually thinks we are that serious, this is just a joke. i have alot of respect for cal. just some sisterly love, right?

and keep in mind, i was the first one to defend cal against attacks of it being overrated (although they ended up being just jokes by CAL fans) since this is all a joke. so snobbery? hmm...

and grey, UCLA isnt that much ranked lower. OMG, Harvard is like 20 times better than Stanford because they are 4 rankings apart. (sarcasm) The academic argument is irrelevant because both are really good and similar in so many ways.

there are many schools that are very selective but that doesn't mean they are better. according to Most Selective Colleges - List of the 20 Most Selective Colleges , college of the ozarks is alot more selective than Berkeley and UCLA. *** is the college of the ozarks? lol

but yes, the cute buildings do matter. hence why they film movies there. get with the flow, lol.

and last but not least, i dont even go to UCLA. i'm just a UCLA-fanatic living in the Bay Area. So i guess you can say, if i'm so snobby, cal's environment is filled with snobbery because people like me live here. (hopefully you don't conclude to that though)

chibi_loopi - you have any more of those Cal vs UCLA pictures there pretty funny.

Yes.

Nope. UCB Engineering leaves UCLA Engineering in the dust. Same with business. Same with law.

How does one measure a school's social life? Have you lived at both schools? If you're going to say "so-and-so told me," then good, because I know several so-and-so's who has absolutely no life at UCLA. They are awkward and quiet.

I just so happen to be into ugly smart girls. :)
Kidding. I was at Berkeley this weekend. I saw A LOT of beautiful girls.

i am a girl, and i have been to cal twice- and trust me there are significantly more pretty girls on the UCLA campus....not so much guys.

Also, UCLA is a more desired school, thus it has been the one with the most applicants past two years.

There are about 18,000 female Cal students. You've been there twice.

And UCLA being more desired does not objectively make it a better school.

^True.

All of the kids at my high school this past year with GPAs below 3.5 applied to UCLA and not Cal because they actually thought they had a chance at UCLA.

guess what.. a few of them actually got in. To add to that, there was quite a handful with GPAs at the 3.0 cut off.

Good lord, grey. You're really taking this seriously, aren't you?

Collegeconfidential's e-peenis campus of choice never ends, let's put this thread to a rest already.

I missed the satirical undertone blush

lol

i go to campus everyday >_> i don't see the fascination with UCLA chix cuz Cal chix do just fine =)

Now Now kids. Lets put this thread to rest. We obviously know which school is better ;)

not the one ur attending coffeebreak

this is loltastic plz go on

both are overrated... the end

these arent by me, btw. Bruin Roar for the greatest coverage of ucla football.

Good to see CAL up there --- something to look forward to.

Go BEARS!
