US News and World Report: America's Best Public High Schools

-shrugs- and there's also mine, what with its ~4 ap courses offered total.

though we know we're good. =P

My school is 2nd only to TJ among all schools in the Greater DC Metropolitan Area, go figure. :P

I have to say, the ranking was more useful to me only in reporting the "exams per test taker" values, rather than that strange "college readiness" thing they've got going on.

woooo mine got on gold!

Mine's not even in the top 100 in the region of my state.

Mines is # 20 on the list. Oh wells we have more nobel prize winners (7) than TJ and Brown, and Dartmouth combined. We have a sceicne program that is arguably better than TJ's.

All of those nobel prize winners graduated from Bronx before TJ was even created. Let's see what the numbers will be in another 60 years.

I won't care by then lol. Will you? I am pretty sure it will be the same though.
BS>TJ.

Quote from the article :

"You fail or you figure it out," shrugs senior Marina Arnold. "And by fail, we mean B+," adds Lepon."

Haha true that. I love how honors kids equate failing with getting a B.

^lol i do that.

lol collegehopeful78
"In the long run, we're all dead."
I couldn't care less how many NL TJ or BS gets
and no, TJ>BS

S-E-S-E-N-SENIORS

My school's a silver medalist too! Woopwoop! =)

The data on my daughter’s school are completely wrong. The report says it has over 8000 students; it has 5300, and all the other statistics are wrong too. Many comments to that effect, and no corrections whatsoever a month later.

Thread is from 2007

oops nevermind
