<p>Just for the record, I hate when things like the 2010 rankings are released 5 months before 2010.</p>
<p>Secret Asian Man- I hate that too! Or when magazines have their July issue in June. If it says a time, it should be RELEASED in that time.</p>
<p>Magazines and even video games (Madden '10 is a good example) are named that way because they usually stay on the shelves until sometime during the month they are named after. If the July issue of a magazine was on the shelves until August 10, someone buying it on August 5th would think it was outdated.</p>
<p>Folks, I’m not fan of these ratings but let’s be serious. If there are any members of the HS class of 2010 who are going to use them to make decisions on applications, it’s not going to do them much good if the ratings come out after the applications are due. Many colleges seem to set the beginning part of January as the due date for RD apps.</p>
