I like where UCI is placed =D.

so jas0n, how long do you think until the bitter UCD kids start whining about another statistical error (or whatever the hell it was)?

;)

lol WINK WINK :]. jkjk, I <3 Davis.

the liiiink doesn't work. it got shortened so it's not the whole URL

what # is UCI? :O

vc1188 is right but i went to US news website and if i saw the correct list, UCI is at #44?

that debate over uci and ucd was ridiculous i hope this shuts them up a bit.

eh, all ucs dropped rankings... uci was 40th

fixed link
http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/rankings/brief/t1natudoc_brief.php

eh whatever. i got into both uci and ucd. but go aggies lol!

well cmon, ucd is like farmland :) that automatically puts irvine above it.

Like many predicted, UCD and UCI are literally one place away from each other.

Mehh..rankings are very overrated.

Yeah.

As long as your school is recruited for whatever major you're doing, you're in good standing in terms of prestige/ranking/etc.

As long as UCI remains in the top 50, a fluctuation between the high 30s and low 40s is not so bad.

Even after the major expansion ends, it could still see fluctuation in rankings. Look at USC - that school shot up from 41 to 26 in the past 15 years and it has been around since 1880.

Also, US News is slow to capture some of the developments of campuses. This school year for UCI, on-campus housing (which I believe is one of the categories for the rankings) has risen to at least 45% of the student population, which is one of the highest or the highest in the UC system. However, US News still has it at 34%.

WHo cares about rankings? UCI and UCD are like pretty much the same. It's just dumb to try to prove that one is better than the other.
