Just dint want to get stuck with J1. For some reason i wrongly assumed that since schools payed stipend, it would be either J1 or H1b.</p>

<p>@ oulileo, I applied to the Molecular/Cellular Physiology program.
I think they’re done sending out invitations, but it doesn’t seem to be the case for some of the other programs at Stanford Biosciences.
I’m from an east-Asian country. :)</p>

<p>@zfish38: i think the reimbursement is school specific. i got invited to columbia and the admissions dept was willing to reimburse 300 USD. congrats on your interview invites. i’m extremely envious :)</p>

<p>I haven’t had any news at all either which is really frustrating. Don’t know whether to be happy that I haven’t been rejected yet or to assume rejection because I haven’t been invited to interview. I’ve just emailed the grad coordinators at a couple of my schools so I guess I just have to wait…</p>

<p>I haven’t hear a thing from MSSM yet… What program of the U of Utah are you applying for? My girlfriend is applying to the Molecular Biology Program and they told her that they will begin reviewing by the end of February!</p>

<p>also no response from Mount Sinai yet… when was your application complete? due to the fact that they somehow lost my GRE scores, my app was only complete on Jan 6. </p>
<p>UTSW-DBS told me that they will not update the final status until beginning of March…</p>
<p>MSSM has not updated any part of my application till now…although I submitted somewhere around the 23rd of Nov.and I had sent in all transcripts by then for sure.</p>

I have 2.8/5 Undergrad GPA and 3.8/5 Masters GPA from Singapore. GRE-550V 770Q 4.5AW. over 1 yr undergrad research exp. 3.5 yrs full time RA all on cancer. 2 papers (one of the authors). 1 manuscript is underway. 3-4 recos Pretty good ones. How would u evaluate my chances at these schools: Yale -BBS ,Princeton - Biology, JHU - CMM, UMich - MCDB, UPenn- CAMB, Duke-CMB, GSK - Cancer Biology, NYU, UTH and Boston U.
I haven’t heard from any of these unis. And I am panicking big time. Any advice? </p>
