I applied for the Page Program in the fall about a month or two ago, and I was just curious if anyone who applied has gotten acceptance or rejection letters?
Spots are allocated very last minute. When I was a Page, I was notified August 1.
Wow thank you so much for letting me know–I have been getting a lil’ bit nervous to find out because it has been dragged on throughout the summer. Just wondering, did you ever get any email or response from your senator before the August 1st notification of your appointment?
I applied under Senator Cornyn, and I was notified of acceptance about 2 weeks ago!
My cousin served as a page a few years ago, and I think they also notified her fairly close to the start date. She had an amazing time. Btw, she said if she had the chance to do it over again, she’d focus on finding opportunities to help beyond what they specifically asked her to do.
I’m planning to apply for summer 2018 but my senator is up for re-election in fall 2018…do you think my senator would still have an appointment? The 2018 application isn’t up on his website yet.
They should; I think you serve the office rather than the senator, and there will be a senator by next Summer 
@hsstudent13 that will not be a factor. But not every senator gets an appointment every term regardless.
