US student applying to UK schools-AP scores?

Hi all,

I'm an incoming senior from NJ and I plan to apply to a few British universities-namely, King's College London. I have good grades/GPA/test scores, but since AP scores are required and weigh heavily for admission in the UK, I think I might be stuck. First of all, my school is limited in which AP's you can take junior year. Lit and Lang, one of which is required for the programme I will take, cannot be taken before senior year. Last year I took APUSH and AP Environmental, and due to something I'd rather not disclose, I did not score anywhere near as well as expected. This year I am taking AP Lang, Euro, Spanish, and Statistics. I should be able to achieve 4-5's on most of them. The problem is, since AP scores aren't released until July, how can I be accepted? I've read about 'predicted scores' but could a uni really offer me admission based on a teacher's guess that I'll meet the requirements? Furthermore, will my history of AP's mean I'll have no chance whatsoever? Thank you.
