US Students: Arrival

How are you all getting to Montreal? I live in the midwest, and it looks like I'll be driving up there with my family. I'd prefer to take a train or something...does anyone know of any of those options? How expensive, how much storage...

I know many people take buses

I'm a midwesterner too, and I'm driving up there with my parents, but that's just for the first time getting there. I think that to go back and forth on breaks and such, I'm going to take a train to Windsor and my parents will pick me up from there. Train fare ends up being about $230 USD from Montreal to Windsor.

wow, that's a good 15 hours of traveling taking the train to windsor and then driving to chicago.... I'm gonna be flying out there and shipping some of my stuff. Check www.studentuniverse.com and also sites like www.kayak.com to find decent airfare

Who else is from Chicago?

Anyways, yeah...my parents wanna go up there with me. I'd rather just catch a plane, but whatever. It's important to them, so I'll deal.

where in chicago you from?

I'll be driving -- I only live 7 hrs. from Montreal.

yeah, i'm 6 hours away, so i'll be driving as well.

I'll be driving w/ my family...I'm only 1.5 hrs away, lol.

You can fly into Montreal-Dorval.
