11 was kinda weird in Section 10, I put “Were to” or something. Choice C. People want to confirm? It was the unreal tense thing…

@Iemit i believe you are right. it’s the one that simply uses ‘and’ because the ‘also with’ and ‘combination’ answers are more wordy but aren’t necessary

i said the same thing as kevin
the “that” was in the way so i thought the only plausible answer was just A. practice

does anyone remember what #12 was on section 10 i cant seem to think of it i just remember i got A

Were bla bla to blah, they would have bla bla bla.

Sounded good, so I picked the were one

so… honking geese flying… no error anyone?

ya i put no error. what did u guys put for the has complained question

how many no errors did u guys get for the 35 question section

I thought it should have been just “complained that”.

I had 2 or 3 No errors

English + Scotting Flag

One choice was, it combined the stripe and the cross

the other was, it was a combination of the stripe as well as the cross.

I originally put combo one, but the ‘as well as’ makes it incorrect i think.

I put it combines the stripe and cross. What do you all think?

I put the with one for the scottish flag. Can anyone confirm on the one with the politician? Some of the choices were Although, Yet, and Despite. Also what about the one with the universe, was it to be 14 billion years old or is 14 billion years old.

it’s you practice. just remove the stuff inbetween the commas. you practice is the only one that works

2 no errors - was considering having a third but changed her to she. politician anyone? it was the last section - thought all of the options were awkward?

@Mango, I put the one that said … “combined SOMETHING and SOMETHING ELSE”

i think universe was ‘is 14 bil years old’

its 100% you practice, do, practicing, with practice, and the original option made no sense. I had two no errors.

@ Brolex, I don’t remember the exact wording. If it had a “that” in there, it would be “is”; otherwise, it would be “to be.”

Ex: Scientists found that the universe is … OR
Scientists found the universe to be …
Both of those are correct. It depends on whether or not it had a “that.”

I can’t remember the question, but one of the answers was “insert the words ‘to be’ before ____.” Does anyone remember that? I didn’t pick that as my choice because I was leaning towards the “to be” being unnecessary but I wasn’t sure.

And yes, its “were schools teaching” - were is used to make a hypothetical…like “were I more careful, I wouldn’t have fell down the cliff” lol

neon blue i chose change take to have taken
