I quess all those exams we have to take for entering are based on the courses that american high school sudent are taking. Americans, please, tell me what exactly do you study in school (i'm interested in math and science), that will tell me if I should really think of SAT exam. How long are you studyng physics in school? What is the maximum level of knowledge in physics and math that a student can get in a high school?

don't you think this question is in the wrong section since you want americans to answer??

I agree with dexter. It's probably better to post this up in the SAT Preparation Forum.

OK, thanx, I'll do that. I just thought somebody here had done that kind of research before me

Martin, I think your question doesn't have deffinite answers. Schools don't have a unitary curriculum in the United States, so your it's hard to evaluate what level someone gets to in, say, physics when you have thousands and thousands of high-schools teaching the stuff differently. However, what I would suggest looking at would be the AP and the IB curricula. Usually the students who get into top-schools take a lot of APs and/or graduate with an IB.
