Last year’s cutoff was like 142 @theglowingdragon
I asked the USABO officials and they said the total possible on the semi-finalist exam was 226.
@staticjava No, I did really badly… Oh well I’m freshman anyway semifinalist is good enough I guess
@LibbyOK oh thats kinda of strange… From what i remembered there were 60 1pt mc, 60 2 pt mc, and 21 pt written section which would amount to 201 not 226. Not like it matters, I wasn’t very close either way… 8-|
Does anyone know of any biology competitions similar to the USABO?

If so, do you have an idea what the cut off for top 1% and 5% will be? (Based on previous years)
@DankMeme2019 yeah, I did. It was a little harder than last year, but I’m not sure. Most likely north of 40/50
Oh I took the Toronto Biology Competition this year, I thought i was pretty easy but so did everyone else. Probably got somewhere between 40/50 and 45/50

All the stats doesn’t match the graph, so idk about that.
Manually counting, finalist cutoff appears to be 144±1
Top 56 is about 133±2
@Uber721 If you check last years’ histogram, you will find it’s the same exact graph. It’s likely incorrect and the post has been removed from the group already.

Wait when do the results for the U of Toronto Bio Contest come out and what have been some past cutoffs? Judging from all the OP people in the top honor roll I highly doubt l’ll get anything, but still curious.
I calculated my score to be about a 43 for this yr im not sure about the cutoffs either
