Hey guys, this is my first time taking USABO; would it be helpful to go through past open exams? I’m trying to skim Campbell’s as well, but I’m taking it on Friday so I’m in somewhat of a bind lol

@Osbteamftw Wait, no I haven’t taken the test yet, I’m taking it on Friday- my question was, would the past (released) exams online be of any help when taking the actual test? I thought the doc had answers to previously administered open exams…
This is how the USABO discussion will work for those of us who have taken the test. It will all be in a G o o g l e D o c with approved people (we already have a few). Because I need to verify if you took the test, send an email to newyorkcarl247@gmail . com.
I will ask a general question, and if you answer right(you need to answer in the next minute or two), I will add you to the chat room!

I’m against this idea of discussing through a doc…it’s still risky. Can we wait for at least another week to discuss?

I think the doc is pretty safe becauuse carl asks a bunch of questions to make sure you took the test.
@crumpets1 I think you should look at a couple practice exams to get a feel for the test, but I would focus more time reading through parts of Campbell. Skimming only works to a certain extent since you won’t actually retain much of it. Instead maybe thoroughly read some important chapters, like macromolecules, cell resp/photosynthesis, or the respiratory system.
