I got 32 (I think), enough to be a semi-finalist.

il bandito,

Of course you would want to put it ib a resume. But it is by no means a hook at the most selective of schools.

I just learned that I made it to the next round. What do you guys think I should do to prepare for the next exam?

Try reading Campbell thoroughly and look at Peter Raven's "Biology of Plants", especially the Introduction to the Angiosperms and Evolution of the Angiosperms chapters. Also do some work on Taxonomy/Biosystematics...There was a nasty magnoliopsida/liliopsida question on the semifinals last year that made/broke a couple otherwise-high scores.

38! Backlash, do you post on AOPS forums too?

Anyways, how do you guys plan to study?

Guys, Where can I find past USABO semifinal exams?

I am taking the test tommorow. I found out that I got a 35 on the open exam. Is that a decent score to make it worthwhile for me to take the semifinal exam and do good on it(not thinking of making to the next level)?

I got a 36 on the open (after studying all the wrong things) and DIED on the semifinals (also after studying all the wrong things). Most of the free response I had no idea how to do -_-;

Is this a good score: 15

I didn’t do that well on the open exam but I’m only a freshman in Biology 1 Honors, Gifted.
