Hello, I am currently a freshman and I’ve recently found some interest in programming and started learning c++. I also learned about competitive programming and the usaco. I do find the problems do be pretty difficult and I don’t really know where to exactly where to begin or what do exactly do. Thanks if you do reply
Oh I accidentally forgot to put question lol : “How do I get started with competitive programming and what’s the experience like? Any key topics I should know?”
Anyone can sign up, but if you’re serious, you can start by taking an algorithm course (e.g. on MIT OpenCourseWare).
There is a database of programming questions here:
https://open.kattis.com/problems
They are rated for difficulty. If you cannot get the solution you can typically google and find the answers.
You can also program problems from
Same here, if you cannot solve it you can find solutions online…
I think you can probably just google around and find numerous other websites…I think codeforces is another site with programming problems and contests…have fun!!!
