USAFA advice for an upcoming Senior

Hi
so I am going to be a senior this year and REALLY want the USAFA to accept me. This year the classes I plan to take are:
AP Spanish
AP english 12
Anatomy and Physiology H
Computer class
Gov and Econ (regular)
Pre Cal honors

Right now my GPA is a 4.0 weighted and a 3.9 unweighted. I am the treasurer of both the National Homor Society and Cross Country Club. I am on Varsity Track and XC and was captain for XC. We only get 1 sport letter in our school regardless of how many sports we play in.
The problem that I am facing is in the SAT and ACT area… I only got a 1600 in the SAT and a 24 overall in the ACT , I retook the SAT two weeks ago so hopefully I did better, i am aiming for at least an 1800. I feel that I do have what it takes to get into there but I don’t know. Oh I am a female by the way! And also I don’t know whether I should choose AP physics or just stick with Anatomy and Physiology. Plus, how many hours should I consider with volunteering because I have around 70 right now with the library… Thank you!

Definately try to get that score up to at least a 29. This, of course is an approximate number. Being a female, i think, should definately help you. Unfortunately, though, a 24 is really low and they want to make sure they admit people who can do the work because it is extremely difficult for even the brightest of students to do well. Keep volunteering as much as possible and show the school that you are truly passionate about USAFA.
And good luck on that ACT, scores come out in a week!

It looks like your weak points are your test scores and math. Unfortunately, both of those are extremely important to USAFA. You need to improve your test scores to be competitive. The average for the ACT is in the 29-31 range. (I don’t remember the SAT middle-50%). Your ECs look fine.
