<p>If you want to check you status, log-in to the same place where you submitted your application. It should tell you your status. Oh, and OASIS... scroll back a few pages in this thread and you can see the discussion. As far as I know, it's some financial site for USC and some of us have been freaking over it. It's no big deal :)</p>

<p>I called USC earlier today asking if they received my supplementary materials(School of Cinematic Arts) and the girl said they are just starting to review transfer applicants. She said to check back in a few weeks. I'm posting this since it may be helpful to others. If any of you guys are applying to SCA, their admissions office number is (213)740-8358. USC emailed me the phone number when I asked a question regarding SCA.</p>

<p>Well it's confirmed, my app got in on time! They've also already received all my supplemental materials and my OASIS is showing that everything is in. (Look at pg 48, post #718 if you are confused). This was quite a week... I'll make sure to not let this happen with my other schools.. Anyhow, everyone I talked to was super nice. If you have any questions, I suggest you call the admission interns (213-740-6616), they were not cranky and extremely helpful. Other than that, I might as well add myself on our tentative list.</p>

<p>When does USC ask for spring grades? Do they require all applicants to send in spring grades? Do they send you a letter requesting your spring grades before you find out if you are accepted or not?</p>

<p>So what did you guys and gals talk about in your app? </p>

<p>I talked about how I'd make full use of USC's extensive resources, especially the wide range of classes offered (and all of the student orgs that sounded interesting), how being in LA would increase my career options, how my majors would make me stretch academically, and a short story on diversity. I tried to personalize it, but I just hope I'm not being a butt kisser or that everyone took the same approach.</p>

<p>exhorder - Not all applicants get a spring grade request. An SGR essentially means they are interested in you but want to see your spring grades before making a decision. These typically come out around late May to mid June. If you get one, it will be a little more waiting to find out if you are accepted or not.</p>
