<p>GPA: 3.55 but it just went down from a 3.85 because a personal tragedy during finals week</p>

recs: pretty good + :) (one about me as a person who doesnt give up, one about how im an excellent chem student, top2-3% that teacher has ever taught and one that I havent seen)</p>
<p>ECs: id say are outstanding :) done A LOT of community service in home country, soccer coach and school tutor for kids in underprivileged neighborhoods, a bit here in the us. a bit of work experience in themedical field.
--> Started my own charity in Sweden through which I collected over $10 000 dollars and hundreds of pieces of clothing that was donated to poor families in India. (money went to medical supplies for them)</p>

<p>Hey, do we HAVE to send our high school transcript via fax? I sent mine through Docufide, and it still says they are missing it? Should I have it faxed, and have an official high school transcript mailed? Anybody else use docufide?</p>
<p>The document for the High School Transcript says that they want you to have your High School transcript sent via mail from the high school. I say just do that because it worked for me and only took a few days.</p>

<p>Re: exh0rder17 and others about student loans --</p>
<p>The one thing you may want to follow up on is that submitting your FAFSA makes SC (can't speak for other schools but I'm an SC student) calculate an "additional eligibility for student loans". I believe that some companies that issue student loans want to see this amount, or for instance the USC Credit Union has some student loans with reasonable interest rates, etc. and they would almost certainly require seeing the FAFSA results, even if you're planning to take out everything. If SC doesn't give you need-based aid, and it sounds like they won't, then your additional eligibility should be close to 100% of tuition + living expenses. Anyways, this may not be true for all loans (or I could be totally off base) but you might want to check up before the FAFSA deadline just to ensure that you're not restricting yourself solely to the sketchier loan institutions.</p>

<p>Or anybody know the transfer averages for the last few years, by any chance?</p>
<p>I remember seeing in the transfer manuals that the average admit GPA for Fall 2007 was 3.7 and for Fall 2008 was 3.65. I'd be shocked if it went lower than 3.65 this year.</p>
