USC 2009 transfer thread

Joc- its cool. I just didn't want others o misinter. My words and think sppd was easy to get into, ya know.
Rodeo....ur the man

Oh joc, I didn't mean to get all caplock on ya to, that my bad

haha yeah its all good lol

All I have to say is wut a typical "ruin bruin", go to your fellow mates at the University of Crybaby Loser As*****es, and go watch U Clowns Lose Again
Thanks anyway

hmm... you dont watch a lot of college sports do you?

UCLA has more national championships than USC. The only sport USC is relevant in is football but most Trojan fans don't even know who the coach was before Pete Carroll. Did you know UCLA dominated the Trojans during the 90's despite being a basketball school?

But it's okay... I'm sure you'll be able to come up with better attacks someday while being a toejam at USC... lol

let's go back onto subject before this becomes an all-out flame war. So when does USC come out with decisions and did any of you guys apply to any UC's? if so, which ones? and why do you guys want to go to USC? any poli sci majors? im too lazy to read all 105 pages of this thread to find out, lol.

What's up with all this USC bashing chibi_loopi?

And if you really want your questions to be answered, I don't recommend you bashing on the rival school so you can find out how you can improve to get into USC (I'm sure you applied or you wouldn't be checking this discussion) or any of the UC's.

I think chibi is just partaking in some friendly rivalry. Anyway, I applied to Berkeley, UCSD, UCSB and UCD. So far admitted to UCSD and UCSB's honors program. Of course, my top choice is USC. Did you apply to USC, chibi?

Hey now!

Chibi_loopi is trying to be nice, we all like to rep our schools so no offense should be taken.

Chibi- we hear probably starting in mid-May until July.

I don't remember there being any poly sci majors

Oh, and we want to go to USC because it's better than UCLA

fUCLA- my bad :)

you're learning Cap :)

Although fUCLA has won 103 NCAA team championships and 124 total national championships, which is more than any other college or university, USC has:

*Men's teams have won 87 national championships (67 NCAA titles), more than any other University.

*USC Trojans football team has won 11 national championships and 7 players have won the Heisman Trophy

*USC has won 17 championships outright, shared eight and gone to the Rose Bowl or BCS bowl 21 times.UCLA has won six championships outright, shared five and gone to the Rose Bowl eight times.

*From the 1904 Summer Olympics through the 2004 games, 375 Trojan athletes have competed in the Games, taking home 112 gold medals, 64 silver and 58 bronze. This All-time Olympic Games medal count would place USC 11th international as of 2004. Since 1912, USC is the only university in the world to have a gold medal-winning athlete in every summer Olympiad.

*USC won the National College All-Sports Championship, an annual ranking by USA Today of the country’s top athletic programs, 6 times since its inception in 1971.

I have a lot more information in the Knights Archives that I could share that not even you, Chibi, probably know. :) These stats are more common knowledge compared to the ones I have. If you want them, I'll make sure to startup the MacBook and bring up the other stats.

hey sorry for the confusion guys. Yes, it was mainly freshmen who got the link and were accepted. I thought it'd be the same for transfers haha

I actually didnt apply to USC. I cant afford to go there so it was out of the picture. I'm just playing with you madsc, chill... lol.

zircusio, im loving the facts you are providing

but because i am a friendly rival, i decided to respond to them. no offense intended.

*Men's teams have won 87 national championships (67 NCAA titles), more than any other University.
- i value women on an equal level but yeah, awesome stat.. lol

*USC Trojans football team has won 11 national championships and 7 players have won the Heisman Trophy
- one of them being OJ Simpson. How'd that work out? Reggie Bush + Matt Leinart = NFL busts ;)

*USC has won 17 championships outright, shared eight and gone to the Rose Bowl or BCS bowl 21 times.UCLA has won six championships outright, shared five and gone to the Rose Bowl eight times.
- this of course is in football. keep in mind, UCLA is not a football school. Winning six championships for a non-football school is pretty impressive in itself. But i see a bright future ahead under Coach Neu!

*From the 1904 Summer Olympics through the 2004 games, 375 Trojan athletes have competed in the Games, taking home 112 gold medals, 64 silver and 58 bronze. - I'm too lazy to pull out the stat but UCLA has the most gold medalist from the US. I remember reading an article about that before the Olympics.

You also forgot to mention the numerous law run-ins that USC athletes have had in the past decade. ;)

All fun and games though. Glad to see some sports talk on these boards. :D

But back to my question:
The reason why I'm asking is
1) because im bored
2) i want to see how other poli sci majors fare
3) i want to see stats of USC hopefuls
4) because im bored

the UC Transfer board is pretty lame with all the - "OMG, I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER" posts and the "I have a 4.0, what are my chances?" threads.

chibi,
from my experience, USC hopefuls are usually on par with Berkeley/UCLA hopefuls. I myself am a Berkeley applicant with a 3.8 GPA, but USC is my top choice.

Nooo grey, cant lose you to the dark side. ;)

but in all seriousness, one of my cousins just got into ucla. she is also the biggest b

Oh, I'm so glad this site helped you out! I'm currently a high school planning to transfer to USC after two years of community college. Now I know where to turn to for credible advice!

lmao at least we have a fun sense of humor who aren't cursing off a bruin! :) i think fUCLA has had a gold medal in every olympic game chibi, was reading that before.

i havent seen any polysci majors myself on the boards but i'm sure granted the amounts who apply there are a few. :P

moss that is so ****ing funny lmfao

Chibi, my bad... seeing your post after a loss, that was my bad. Anyway i was just messin with you, ya know fun rival stuff. You should see my family, more than half are trojans and the others sadly, bruins....so you could only imagine. And like everyone kinda answered your ?, i dont think there are any polisci majors.....

Hey im currently a high school senior and rather discouraged with the latest turn of events. I really dont know much about trasferring, but ive seen that USC has exceptional programs. I was wondering if someone could tell me how difficult transferring to USC or anywhere in general is?
