aww i'm super excited for you. i hope you get in. and all of us too.

to whoever asked me- im coming from a 4yr (emory U)

That status is for freshmen. It has to be a glitch.

I won't have 60 units :(

don't worry about not having 60 units. i'm sure it's not even a big deal.

i'll only have 60 units because of my AP classes from high school. after spring i'll only have 36 units from college courses.

aaam- :) thank you! what did you apply for?

i applied for comparative literature in CLAS. and i left my second choice as undecided.

well best of luck to you :) don't forget to announce it here when we you get in!!!

shooshu that was me. i was just curious cause i havent seen too many people on this thread who are from 4 yr colleges. i'm at villanova right now so its nice to see someone in the same boat as i am. whats your major?

im also from a 4 year university, Montclair State University in jersey :P
majoring in molecular biology

Applying from Emory: 1st choice Chemistry (CLAS), 2nd choice Math (CLAS)

I'm applying as a sophomore though so I might change my major if/when I get in.

i'm also from a 4 yr. Loyola Marymount University. so there's more of us than i thought.

I'm applying as a rising sophomore to viterbi. Yall have any idea about gpa or anything from 4 year universities

the average GPAs the last few years have ranged from 3.57 to 3.70

but i have gone through some old threads which told of applicants from universities such as Georgetown and Duke who got accepted with 3.3

my bet is that 3.5+ from a 4yr (especially one that is more prestigious) is considered competitive -- especially since the USC transfer website DOES say that they expect "A-/B+ average" on transferrable coursework and 3.5 is right in the middle of B+ and A-

hope that helps

hi guys, i know my question might be very stupid but please any helps is great. i'm currently a second year at UCI and i hate it here and want to get out of here. Is it too late to apply for 2009 fall or spring at USC?

h2soccergod--It's too late to apply for fall of 2009 and USC only offers spring admission to a select few applicants who applied in the fall.

hey guys, i am actually surprised there are a lot of 4yr university applicants on here as well. I go to the University of Arizona (the BETTER school in arizona).

Well that's a no-brainer. ASU makes Cal State admissions look like Yale. I swear, ASU will admit anyone with a pulse.

i like the arizona basketball team. i watched nick wise play in highschool a few times and i love his game

ugghh..i hope i don't get a spring admit..but if i do..i'd still go.
