I have a question about sending transcripts to USC

How does attaching your personalized forms to the transcript and HS transcript work? Are you supposed to open the envelopes and sandwich the transcripts in between your forms. Or what are you supposed to do?

Also, are you allowed to hand deliver transcripts because I live like 25 minutes from USC and wanted to go to the campus to talk to someone about FA and it would be nice if I could just drop the transcripts off

I always imagined that the transcripts would have to be official and mailed directly from the school.

My understanding is that you fill out the necessary paperwork, hand it over to records/secretaries at your high school and college, and they mail it to the school.

I just called USC admissions and asked about the fax cover sheets because I was curious. The admissions rep stated if the official transcript is being sent from the college then to not worry about the cover sheets at all. So it might be easier to just give the admissions office mailing address to your college/HS so they can mail the official transcript for you.

Correct. Just try to make sure they include your USC ID# somehow when they send it. They should be used to students requesting their application ID# to be included with the transcript I imagine.
