Thanks for all of the encouragement and congrats again on the acceptances!! I feel the Trojan family love already <3

^

:)

im sure there will be a lot of others on here soon helping you guys, for example woman.of.troy who helped us fall 09 transfers a lot :)

I didn’t get accepted…but thanks anyway LOL.

Things like these get me excited being a USC hopeful and knowing that I’m not alone in the process.

Oh sorry hippo50, I guess I just assumed that you were accepted as well. My apologies :(

As for myself, I will also be applying for Fall 2010 transfer. This will be my first time to applying anywhere and USC is my only and definite choice – mainly for their focuses in their Business Administration program such as Corporate Finance or Financial Analysis & Valuation. Additionally, I’ve visited the campus and love the area, the people and the feeling of a collective Trojan family.

damn why everyone wants to go to usc so bad?

I just submitted my Part I application and even though I haven’t taken a look at Part II I legitimately think I have a shot. The only question I have though: Is what factors influence the acceptance of Sophomore Transfers?

jetblack3s, cuz its the sh-it

Hey everyone,
glad to see people as excited as me to be applying!! haha i thought i was just obsessed. so i guess we are still waiting for part II to becoming out since i am checking everyday! i have been working on my essay and i have a couple ideas but i keep wanting to restart since i feel they are not good enough :(

Future Trojans! (Hopefully :])

I have a feeling that we’ll all be on this board a lot, so we might as well get to know each other.

So, I guess I’ll start us off:

I’m planning to apply as an English major and eventually minor in Writing for the Screen/Television. So far I have a 4.0 GPA and I plan to have all the GE’s done by Spring 2010. Anybody know if there are specific pre-reqs for English majors?

Congrats to everyone that has been accepted for Fall 2009/Spring 2010!

I’ve been monitoring the USC Transfer 2009 thread closely and I am hoping that in a year I will be in the same position as many others on this board. I will be a freshman at my local CC this Fall and I have USC (Marshall/Leventhal) at the top of my list for transfer schools.

MartinSMC: I am planning on being a business major, so I am not familiar with the pre-reqs for an English major, but here is a link for the Articulation Agreement from USC. Just choose your area/school and that way you can see how your classes will transfer to SC.

This link may be helpful as well: [Transfer Student Application Process > USC College of Letters, Arts & Sciences](http://college.usc.edu/transfer-application-process/)

spin03 i am applying to be a business major too, what classes are you taking in the fall and spring??

for me in the fall i am taking: business calc–MATH 125, macroecon–ECON 205,english–WRIT 140, and then earth science–GE III,
in the spring i have: microecon–ECON 203, and then all the other GE courses and diversity.

so i should be done with the business prerequisites and the general eds by spring 2010

Hey everyone who have been following this thread, I would like to just introduce myself. My name is Kevin Wang and I am going to be a Junior this fall at University California Riverside and I’m applying in Fall 2010 as a business major to Marshall. I currently have a 3.87 cumulative and have completed business calc, macro econ, and have yet to complete micro econ as well as the English requirement which I will be completing next quarter.

I have already submitted my PART I application to USC and waiting for Part II to become available, which does anyone know when that time will be? Thanks in Advance.

I hope we can become great trojan bonding buddies and help pull each other through this long and arduous application process. I wish you all the best of luck!

Hey Spin03, when you complete PART I of the application it says that accounting is only available to incoming freshman because of the extra load of accounting classes you have to take in your very 1st year, so if you’re still interested into accounting @ USC you might want to call them and make sure you can still apply as a sophomore.

I’d be glad to help you if I can, my sister is an accountant at Ernest and Young (#2 of the Big 4 Companies in accounting) and I can help answer you some questions.

Oh I answered my question in my first post here

[Transfer Students - USC Undergraduate Admission](http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/transfer.html)

You can find a bulleted step by step of transferring applications and what not here, it’s really helpful if you are new and a bit cluelesss. It’ll get you started on some very basic info.

hey kev
in the confirmation email it says part II will come out mid july but online it says august 1st, either way some time soon so no big deal

xdzzzrawr:

Thanks for your input and offering of advice. Nobody can transfer directly into Leventhal. You must either complete Accounting 1 and Accounting 2 at USC before being eligible for admission to Leventhal OR take Accounting 1/2 before transferring to USC and then complete BUAD 305x at USC, which I believe is some type of abridged accounting course. By taking the latter path, you only need to spend 1 semester at USC before applying to Leventhal, rather than 2 semesters.

If you don’t mind me asking, where did your sister go to school? Congrats to her for getting a job at such a prestigious organization.

Hey guys… I am a business major as well so hopefully we’ll all get in and have made some friends before we start! I have taken Macro, Micro, the English, acct 1, acct 2, and all of the GE requirements other than part I and II which I should have done by the end of the fall semester. Have any of you guys taken that business calc class yet? Im taking that next semester shouldn’t be too bad… Where most of you guys from?
