Only your major. They will see the rest of your courses on your transcript.

I was wondering my chances of acceptance into usc. I applied into Marshall. My transfer gpa is 3.57 but on my transcript it is a 3.499 because i got B’s in non transferable math and english classes. I was wondering what gpa to put on the application and if I should change it from my schools grading system of A=4,A-=3.7,etc…

I was wondering how my chances would be because i applied for fall 2010 but will be taking the arts and letters (V), global cultures (II), and western cultures and traditions (I) requirements this spring so they will not have my grade. I was just wondering if that will chnage anything.

Well I just read that they want your gpa in transferable courses. Must have missed it the first time

so if i had my high school send in a transcript but without the form and USC id, I am good to go correct?

@football2010 - They may ask you for your Spring grades before they make a decision on their application. Are you a freshman or sophomore?

are any of you going to the jan 22nd transfer day? i think ima just turn in my transcripts in person that day…

I sent an email question last week regarding the transcript situation since I’ve attended 3 colleges, with some being pretty far away.

They said it was fine if I got all 3 together and mailed it in one big envelope with the Form 7 (or was it Form 6).

Cheers.

^^how long did it take for them to reply to ur email. i emailed them 2-3 days ago and they still havent received a reply. so each school DOES need a form 7?

I am a sophmore

Are you guys sending in transcripts before you complete Part II?

@football, for your GPA on the application, put in the total GPA with ALL TRANSFERABLE courses, it says on the description of where you put your GPA, in terms of your USC GE category situation, I’m not too sure how that will factor in, but what certainly will factor in is the pre-req grades you received for marshall prereqs - micro/macro econ/business calc/ english.

Hi I am applying for Fall 2010 and on the app it says you do not have to submit test scores if you have more then 30 transferable units and I will not have 30 until after the spring semester and I currently have 22 and am taking 18 in my spring semester so do i need to submit my sat scores or not?

@rcwhite - No. They will likely not look at your application until after the spring semester when they ask you for your spring grades. Since you’ll have over 30 at that point they won’t look at SATs or high school.

Does anyone else find that the application for financial aid is much more tedious than the one for admission?? lol
