<p>I, too, have not been able to complete the second semester of the English requirement due to similar reasons (ENG200 was only offered at one time, which conflicted with my physics and engineering labs). I really hope we will still be considered for admission. I totally forgot to put my reason for not being able to meet the requirement though (total d’oh moment for me)…
I did, however, email Viterbi asking about this. I’ll keep you updated on anything I find out.</p>

i just looked at the results from people who got in last yr and seemed like theyve completed a lot of pre-req classes… with a high GPA. ( a lot of them had 3.9-4.0)</p>

<p>@nabilesmail Hmm interesting… I definetely hope that isn’t the case cuz I have a lot of units! Although I guess it would kind of make sense… Freshmen, then sophomores, then juniors :(</p>

<p>@NoTime2Play With only 9 units completed, they’ll mostly look at your high school information. Did you apply and get accepted/rejected following hs? And won’t USC only see your winter grades with a grade request or do you automatically send it? (I’m at a semester school so I’m not up to date on the quarter stuff). But assuming you get it up and they see it, it should definetely help, but 500 words over is a lot extra and they’ll look down on that a little, unless you realllly needed that many space and couldn’t be more concise. But this also depends on your major; if you’re going for Marshall you’re a bit on the low end, otherwise if you pull ur gpa up to 3.7ish you’re average for an accepted transfer.</p>

<p>I don’t know how significant this is but I’m curious to know when you guys were writing your essay’s and short answers and when you wrote USC in you essay, did you refer to it as USC or University of Southern California?</p>
