<p>@NMTheOne - I don’t know if your 95 units are trimester units or not… but USC only accepts 64 semester units to be transferred.</p>

<p>Yes, I think they will accept a 5 unit class. The only thing about that in the brochure is that it has to be at least 2.67 semester units, or something like that. So you should be good.</p>

<p>I want to transfer into annenberg and I’m planning on coming down and attending one of the transfer days this year. </p>
<p>Did any of you attend any of the transfer day presentations? If yes how helpful was it?
Im looking for a hotel to stay at that is as close to campus as i can get for when I come down,Any suggestions?</p>

<p>Hey Guys! I was wondering if any of you knew, I was looking on the website and I saw the Average GPA for a transfer was a 3.7. I am coming from one of the top 15 public universities in the country, and i was wondering if my GPA isnt as high as the average will they take where i am coming from into consideration? considering most come from community college. I am also just a freshman so when i apply I wont have exactly 30 hours done but i will by the end. Will they look at my HS grades or wait to see my second semester? I love USC! I hope we all can be a part of the USC community.!</p>

<p>The Radission is very convenient to USC (it is USC’s hotel). It is directly across the street from campus. It is so close, they use several floors as freshman dorms. Do a search for “Radisson USC.”</p>

<p>hey guys
i talked to admission office people and they said 30 units by spring. After that they will finally decide. Hope that is clear.</p>
<p>Hey Laxlove, Im not too sure about the whole gpa thing considering where you are coming from, but I do know some people get in with a 3.5 or below but still reach for the best one you can. I believe they look more on portfolio than gpa considering these stats. As for your 30 hrs, they want you to have 30 or more by the end of spring so when you send in your application, you might not have the 30 yet, so they will send a spring request form thing for the rest of your hrs. Then if you do have 30 or more, they won’t look at your HS record including SATs/ACTs but still ask for proof of graduation. They still ask you to send test scores i think (?) though, but wont look at them if you have 30 or more.</p>
<p>Is it 30 transferable units or just 30 total units? </p>
<p>And for the gpa, I’m assuming they do look at only your transferable gpa, correct?</p>

<p>USC has no GPA requirement. Your hard work should show on your application.
Its great that you attend a prestigious university; however, community college classes differ in no way from your university classes. The only difference is that community colleges may not have as good facility. It is sort of a stereotypical way of looking at community colleges.
Just do your best, and if you have around a 3.5 , then they will be considered as a qualified applicant. Make sure that you are working on pre-reqs and gen ed .

<p>Does anyone know if Cal Grant can be used to for transfer students? Is it included in the grant money that USC offers you? I tried reaching the FA office but couldn’t get through to them.</p>
