Pinoiako, how was your essay? All else looks wonderful, great job!!! I ask about the essay because it is really the part where you get to express your essence and show them what is unique about you. ;)

For my essay on “what is important to you” I talked about how exposure to people with dementia and Alzheimers has made me become a better person by being able to react to different behavioral situations that will arise. Talked about how this exposure will be important as I plan to be a clinical psychologist.

Hey guys, at first I really though I wanted to be a psych major so on my USC app I put Psychology for my first major…now that I’m actually taking Psychology classes I realized that it’s not really what I expected it to be… and really like English and have actually been thinking of going to law school… How can I tell USC that I want them to consider me for English instead of Psych?

Also, whats the whole deal with P/F? Does it REALLY affect your chances?

Well, thats the class I’m struggling in…Psychology… and I put that as my major…but I really want to change to English to pursue a career in law. I really enjoy writing.

So Can I tell them to consider me for Eng? Who would I email? Then, if I am considered for Eng I was thinking of changing Psychology to P/F…The thing is that I’m taking 2 psychology classes in order to get a class equivalency at USC. For my Psych 1 class, I’m doing very well, however the other Psychology class I am taking…I’m not doing so well :/

I’m lost, and any help would be appreciated. I read some thread from last year and some guy took his Econ class as P/F and was accepted into Econ.

If I were you, I would call admissions in the morning and ask if you can have your major changed. If it’s possible, I’m sure they’d do it. If they’re not going to touch our applications until April then why not?

My significant other waits tables…so no V-Day for me

My advice to pass the waiting…SCHEDULE A VISIT! Now I can’t wait to see the SCA in March. Keep those positive thoughts running. Visit. Talk. Let them put a face to the name.

Now that I am looking forward to a visit, the waiting seems like less of a a pain.
