USC Admissions Similar to UC Admissions?

I know that UC’s only care about your 10-11th grade GPA.

But what about USC. I realled effed up my freshmen year. I got like a 2.8.

Do they mainly focus on your sophomore/junior grades. Because my trend might be the only thing that gives me hope. (4.4, 4.6 two semesters during Junior Year)

Nobody knows what USC looks for because they hardly look for anything and are consequently amazed when their applicants have something other than an excellent transcript and legacy.

You can probably tell that I don't like USC. :)

But to answer your question, my friend (who applied), told me they look at the 9-12 GPA.

ahh. oh, well.

here's the trend of my first three semesters, and my last three (9-11)

2.67
2.67
2.83

3.83
4.4
4.6

and first semester of this year: 4.50

Bumpity Bump

If everything else is great, a high SATI and II, lots of APs with high scores, and good ECs, you should have a shot. Did you explain it in you essay?
