<p>ANYWAY i am totally lost about housing since USC housing is probably out. so where are you guys going to live? and how do i meet more transfers???

<p>a friend at usc told me about private apts by Conquest..? I was thinking about just finding an apt that needs a roommate… or what other options are there? is it safe to wait until orientation to see if any other transfers want to room with me?</p>

i’ve satisfied everything i knew i was to satisfy…except they are not counting my fourth-semester language (for some reason it’s not translating between french 4 and french 250) which i will probably fight because honestly that’s a little ridiculous since everything else transferred in.</p>

<p>Your initial oasis PW, I believe, will be your birthday. So lets say your birth day is Jan 12 1988, its going to be, 011288 OR 01121988 (forgot which one, but its ONE of those!). And your username will be your USC ID number.</p>

<p>ifann i would snatch up housing now. I went with conquest ([Conquest</a> Student Housing - The Premier Student Housing Provider](<a href=“http://www.conquesthousing.com%5DConquest”>http://www.conquesthousing.com)) grabbed one of their last 2 bedrooms at the Palisades. They might have 2 bedrooms still left at Carolina, or a couple studios left. You should call them and ask what is still available. As far as meeting other transfers, I would say orientation =)</p>
<p>I’m really annoyed I had to drop 30 dollars just to find out the housing is “full” and that people still haven’t gotten their assignments 
Also, has anyone noticed the ads from people who currently have USC housing but are looking to “give up their spot”. Then they go on to say that if you have already applied you can’t get it…so why are spots in housing not getting filled with people who have already applied?</p>

<p>Since I don’t plan on moving to LA till around August 1st I think I might still craigslist for a while and maybe look at conquest housing? But all the roommate services I’ve found are really minimal. The one provided by USC doesn’t work it just comes up as a giant list of names.</p>

<p>No Problem. Make Sure to register your e-mail account, because thats the same account that allows you to access other student services through the computer, such as the student orientation reservation!</p>
