<p>WoT- how long after the orientation email did you get a registration email? I got my orientation email 2 days ago but I haven’t seen anything yet regarding registration</p>
<p>carbroooks- haha ya I’m in the same boat as you, but USC is definitely worth the troubles :)</p>
<p>WOT- I just received an email confirmation, so it only took them about a day to process my deposit. I just registered for my email account and says it should take an hour to have them process & email me my username & password.
Screw the 7 day rule, once I get my username & password email, I’m going to try to register for orientation tomorrow lol.</p>
<p>Solomonm- You will be able to register AT orientation. The little brochure and online info says we will be meeting with an advisor then.</p>
<p>I actually got an email yesterday from Annenberg. It recommended that I meet and set up an appointment with my advisor to discuss my degree progress and transferable classes so that the transition is smooth. That should clear the hold for registration. So I’ll have my schedule all set up and ready to go before the orientation like the email stated. Just waiting for him to get back to me and let me know when he’s free.

<p>usc24- Yeah, I meant getting cleared for orientation took 7+ days. & no you won’t be able to do it, ksbr27 tried it and was blocked or something like that at first, but I think the July 1st orientation may still be open. So many people found out during this past week I think they will be able to accomodate a few more.</p>
<p>Isn’t the deadline to sign up for the July 1st orientation June 24th? My 7 days are up on the 26th…do you think they’ll still allow sign ups.</p>
<p>WoT- I thought that was the case though hah. You’ve inspired me, I’m calling a Marshall advisor monday to help me set up my schedule =)</p>
<p>WOT, So will you go to USC and see an advisor on a day that isn’t the orientation, or will you do it on-line - through email? I ask this because I would love to do it through an email, instead of going on a plane from east coast just for 2 days.</p>
<p>WOT-thanks for sharing re:advisement. i’ve been having a discussion with my parents, and i am probably changing my major to B.A. theatre and trying to pursue a french/MT minor. i will be calling monday to see how to change everything and set up a schedule, UNLESS i can get french 4 to somehow translate to french 250. i’m not really sure what to do! haha.</p>
<p>sunsetsam- I will meet an advisor prior to orientation. If you get an email from your school, then maybe you’ll get the option of doing it online.</p>

<p>cabrooks- When did you pay your commitment deposit? It’s seven days from that date & the deadline to sign up for orientation is still eleven days away. I don’t think it’ll be an issue if you set up your email account ASAP and save yourself a day by doing so.</p>
<p>ohhhh ok. I sent it in on Thursday and got the e-mail just a couple minutes ago that directed me to sign-up for orientation. I set-up my e-mail account today. So that means I could register tomorrow right?</p>

<p>yeah just yesterday. Except it won’t let me go to the next step…I enter my username and password and it says its invalid…I think I have to wait 24hrs for the system to update or something. I can log into my sc e-mail account.</p>

<p>WOT-you know what is so random? i had NO idea USC had two different theatre tracks-the conservatory (BFA) and the general (BA) until about three days before the main application was due, so i was just applying for french because i had the prereqs done…and then i find out about the BA track and how i was OVER a month late with the supplement application, so i just put it in second position. hopefully they’ll take me! i just got an email from my CLAS advisor, so i think monday i’ll be able to call him and just pick his brain on things.</p>
<p>cabrooks-i would definitely try tomorrow. you got yours really quickly! they were steadfast on the whole SEVEN DAYS issue with me.</p>
<p>for everyone doing the homework, who all is going to do their USCard picture in person? i don’t really have a light blue background i can use (unless MS paint is an acceptable background, haha) so i’m just going to go over there and do everything in person since i have about 12 different things i need to do on campus anyway.</p>
<p>also-i haven’t sent UCLA my letter of intent to withdraw yet because i was waiting to see how they would classify my residency…and they classed me as nonresident, which means my tuition would be around 32k there. soooooo guess who is currently writing their LIW for UCLA? hahaha.</p>
<p>ksbr27- I’m taking the ID pic in person since they’re open for summer school. My camera is busted, and I don’t have a light blue background either. I hope my makeup doesn’t melt in the summer heat, lol. :/</p>

<p>Question for those who have paid and accepted the housing contract… </p>
<p>I just sent in the $400 deposit and filled out the rest of the steps on the page. Yet on the Word Document that I received when they sent the e-mail letting me know that my housing assignment was available, I got this… </p>
<p>“Review the Resident Advisor Roommate Living Agreement Form, sign the form and either fax or mail the form to the USC Housing Office by 9:00am Monday, June 16th, 2008. Your assignment confirmation will not be complete until this form is received.” </p>
<p>Does anyone know which form this is? The only thing I saw was the long contractual agreement, where I clicked “I agree” and that was it. I can’t find anything of what they’re talking about. </p>
