USC Admitted Transfer Students 2009

I can’t believe they don’t have our financial aid ready? I thought it’d be out by the time our decisions came out, considering it’s already June?

They can do whatever they please. LOL!

Hi, I’m wondering anyone knows how long it takes for them to get back to us after we’ve paid the enrollment deposit?
and can we only register for classes after attending orientation? if so, does it mean the earlier the session we attend, the earlier we could register for classes?

oh i just noticed on the USC calendar it says Open Registration—August 17-21
so for everyone here August 17th is the first day to sign up for classes right?
i wanted to know cos i’m worried about classes filling up real fast since i’m going for the international students orientation which is a week before classes begin…

i think around 4-5 days. i’m hoping i get something by the end of this week!

Approx. how long after you receive your acceptance do you get the Transfer Credit Report?
Does anyone know ???

:( :frowning: counselors are not the same once you are in. I will miss Mr. Gulotta. he was awesome!

just so my question doesn’t get lost:

Approx. how long after you receive your acceptance do you get the Transfer Credit Report?

DID ANYONE GET THEIR FINANCIAL PACKAGE YET?!

just wondering :x

We got my son’s financial aid package about a week or two after his acceptance package came. It wasn’t much, but we are prepared to pay the full ride.

On another note, for you California residents who are eligible for the Cal Grant. I talked to financial aid and they said it would be August before those are reported. HOWEVER, because of the state’s fiscal crisis, the Governor said it is possible that NO Cal Grants will be issued this year!

Yay! More good news from our Governator…

…governator…smh…i’m still waiting on my FA too, I hope its decent but as long as they set me up with the right loans its all good. def an investment!

oh and i added most of yall on FB…hollaaa.

i got my letter on 5/15, and i just got my transfer credit report yesterday in the mail

oh yeah, I forgot that we get those too…if they don’t offer credit for some classes that you’ve taken, can you appeal it? I think I heard from someone who had transferred before that you can present the class syllabus to the admissions office and argue credit for some classes they may not have accepted before…

yeah gre you can :)

Got my acceptance package today, it’s beautiful I can’t believe there’s a “Certificate of Admission,” but I was accepted for Spring so I will see all of you then unless I get really lucky and they find out there is space for me in the Fall. Have fun at USC next semester, I’m super excited to be joining everyone!

Check your financial aid people! I was surprised I didn’t receive more loans. -_-

Same here trojanhopeful! I also got a spring admission.

GreNerd- i just petitioned my chem 1a class cause it said the course could be equivalent to their chem 105A class. i would NOT want to retake chem again

CHEMISTRY
(CHEM ) 001A(SYL) ; 001B(SYL) ; 002; 012A; 012B; 030A; 030B;
NOTE: If taken in traditional mode (not online), CHEM 001A fulfills GE category III and receives equivalence to CHEM-105A, and CHEM 001B receives equivalence to CHEM-105B. Students must provide syllabi to the Articulation Office after acceptance to USC

grindallday… did you already got your FA?
