USC Admitted Transfer Students 2009

haha i bet if he had the chance to kick he would of… im just going to look for another counselor

Is anyone planning to rush for Greek Row? :D

when the hell do we buy season football tickets

after orientation, they’ll send you an email about football tickets

Football! Wooohoo! Too bad I got admitted for the spring. That means no football for me. :frowning: Anyone wanna take me? :D

waitingonSC we still get the opportunity for football tickets I thought? I might fly down to see the ohio state game, I’m also definitely going to see the Cal game since they are playing in Berkeley and I live close by

Ohio State is hosting USC this year. So you will be flying east. :)

I hope we get the opportunity.

Oh really? I guess I didn’t pay great attention when looking at the schedule

I only remember because I went to the game last year, and it was a home game. I would love to go to the “horseshoe” and raise some hell with some fellow Trojans.

Wow, the home games at USC are not very good. There should be three interesting ones Oregon state (getting revenge for last year), the stanford game is a little interesting (still getting revenge from a couple years ago) and then the UCLA game.

USC needs to get out of the Pac-10 so they can play some real competition

Don’t bag on the Pac-10. Pac-10 went 5-0 in bowl games last season. Oregon State had 6 players drafted to NFL draft (3rd most in the country). UCLA is going to be good in about two years. University of Washington will do well with their new coach.

What’s the deal with housing? Since we are transfers its gonna be really hard to get on campus housing?

mcguigs:
I was looking at last year’s admitted transfer thread and there was someone who applied to housing on June 12 and got an assignment on June 19. So, although it is harder for transfers to get USC housing, there is still hope. I’d say apply as soon as possible!

As for orientation:

If you go to the International orientation, can you still request a package to sing up for classes by july? Does anyone know??

i got a two bedroom but it’s filled already, sorry guys. i know trojan palms are already out of 1 and 2 bedroom rooms but they might still have 3 and 4 bedroom rooms. you can check out stuho.com and sternmanagement.com for some apartments as well. i also visited the tuscany apartments that are managed by usc and they are niiiiiiiiiice. they are out of private one bedrooms but they have rooms available in 3 bedrooms suites if you guys wanna check that out as well.

Is the double with bath in the radisson hotel okay? has anyone been able to see the floor plan??
I’m currently assigned to Regal Trojan 1b2p but I want to change >.>
It’s alittle too far from campus, and thus sort of inconvenient

I asked this earlier but got no answer: Does anybody know what the Foreign Language test will be like? Any ideas? Also, when will we be taking the test? Orientation?

*Step 8: Take your Foreign Language Placement Test

The online Foreign Language Test is only available to incoming freshman students attending an Orientation session. Students transferring to USC are not eligible to take the online Foreign Language Test. Students requesting materials (not attending an Orientation session) must contact the USC Testing Bureau for paper and pencil test dates and policies.*

For those of you who already got housing assignments, how early did you apply?
