anyone know where to ask for the football tickets? its been more than a week since my orientation so i don’t know why i haven’t got the email yet.

klim, I remember someone from last year who used to post here at “idioteque” who was assigned to Honors House. You should go check it out for yourself and judge whether or not you’d like to live there.

the answer, my best guess would be the office of student life. Google it and send them an e-mail/call them up…

come on ppl… i come in this thread like every other day or so, looking for a setup so i can say, ‘thats what she said’… why doesnt anyone say, ‘wow this is starting to get hard’ or ‘its a long process’ or ‘im so excited’… :(

^ lol. Do you watch The Office?

I am new to this thread, but I was really curious if anybody did not quite meet their condition and got to register for classes? I am in the position where I did not quite meet the 3.5 goal and I am still waiting for admissions to get back to me.

Do you guys know new transfer students that actually got their acceptance revoked?

grey - haha yea i do :P

rjinp - sorry dont know, i didnt actually have any real conditions, at least not a gpa one… just finish courses satisfactorily, and behave or whatever…
also, i think they open the registration for classes on the 25th

rjinp, my son missed his 3.5 condition by .06 of a grade point and they did not revoke his admission. It’s decided on a case-by-case basis. You should be in contact with your admission counselor. You don’t say how close you are, but if it is fairly close, you should be okay.

Hey!

do any of you know anything or heard anything about the class

Where are the best nearby options for getting a mattress and desk for unfurnished apartment – mattress would require delivery. Is IKEA nearby, or other store for suitable thin-line desk? Of course, what to-do with mattress over the summer. Other ideas?
