USC Admitted Transfer Students 2009

soo on my housing, when i click on ‘rooms’ to see my potential roommates, it says i hvent been assigned to housing yet. lol. its been like that for a whiel. is that normal?

i got accepted to fall. i analyzed both acceptances and they are the same, must have been a mistake :stuck_out_tongue:

I have to wait several more days; I tried to login but no luck :stuck_out_tongue: fak all classes are gonna be taken :frowning:

getyourownbox, you said you didn’t get usc housing. Where are you planning on living? I don’t know any people down there or anything about the surrounding area which means I’ve been lowkey struggling to find a reasonable apartment. Do you have any suggestions?

yelnats u should call to ask! my bf didn’t hear anything so he called and they said his housing was cancelled b/c they didn’t receive his housing contract, which he actually sent on time. but then they got him another spot!
i would suggest to call and check.

anyone hear from their financial aid appeal yet?

“so he called and they said his housing was cancelled b/c they didn’t receive his housing contract, which he actually sent on time.”

ugh… what’s wrong with them? the housing lady said they didn’t receive my reassignment form. i’ve never had a problem faxing my papers before

marty, i have no idea. i’m still actively looking. i’ve gone to the usc area a couple of times, checked out a couple of apartments. there are still a lot of rooms available, but i agree, it’s a really big B searching for housing (i’ve gotten shafted twice already out of decent aparments) and I can’t imagine you doing this using long distance.

PM me your e-mail address/AIM and if i find a room for you, i can let you know about it and we might be able to work something out if it’s a double.

Spring people–
Do we know when we hear about housing?

they said we should have assignment…or not-assignments…sometime in November

Being that move-in day is one week away, it seems this thread has about run its course (as evidenced by the lack of posts lately). Congratulations to all of you who are about to officially become Trojans. Fight On! Have a great year!

Anyone get into USC with a GPA below a 3.5?

I have a really bad academic past, but I’ve picked myself up with a streak of straight A’s, but even with that I’ll only have a 3.1 or 3.2 by the time I apply. Even if I keep on getting A’s. =[ Those F’s and D’s from a few years ago are really hurting me. I want to apply for Fall 2011. I’m applying to Marshall.

I believe someone got in with a 3.3. Not completely sure though, check the admitted students thread.

i got in with a 2.7

i enrolled into a cc right after hs and dropped out past the drop deadline. after that year i took time off school for two years and did much better when i ended up coming back. i would have around a 3.4 if those F’s weren’t in my transcripts.

in terms of the conditional gpa
i didnt have anything on my acceptance letter that said that but when i called in and asked they asked me if i had met the gpa cut off and i said yes because i had for spring semester
but i am a spring transfer and am wondering if i have to get about a 3.5 gpa for the fall…

hey quick question or questions.
I’m also a computer science major and want to transfer as a freshman.
i have 17 units right now with a 3.76 gpa, however my high school career was not good at all. I will have 30+ units when i finish spring 2012, and plan to raise my gpa to at least a 3.8. do i have any chance?
and also did you have your math requirements already done? like calculus ll?
