USC and SAT2 help please

Ok, i have really good sat 2 scores- like 3 790s, but my sat is horrible- like a 2000 horrible. How would this affect my admission. My gpa is still 4.0 unweighted and i have ok extra curriculars.

Your GPA is amazing, as are your SAT IIs. 2000 isn't horrible (I had a 2070), but it is on the lower side...try taking the ACT also.

Ditto that advice re the ACT. My daughter had a good SAT (2120), but I think her SAT IIs (including a 790 and a 780) plus her ACT (33) combined to help push her over the finish line, along with a successful AP test track record and a superb recommendation. She found the ACT easier than the SAT.

You already have some very good stats, and if you can build them up just a bit more, such as with a really good ACT score, I'd guess you have a good chance. Good luck!

thank you for your suggestion. i have signed up for the act test

I think your SAT score is fine, although it might not get you into the scholarship consideration category. Your general academic record is the most important thing, and it looks pretty strong if you keep it up.

If you also have really good AP/IB scores to back up your SAT II scores, that will help you out even more.
