Also, i want to go to a good business school, can somone recommend some good business schools please?

plz plz plz chance me and give me advice

I wouldn’t get your hopes cause you only have 1 AP class and it doesn’t seem like your courseload is that rigorous at all. Gotta get a 2200+ SAT’s, EC’s are fine, i’m going to assume your lang teacher is going to write an awesome letter of rec. Your lifestory is good, try to write an essay about. See if you can write an essay about how you overcame that experience have not knowing your father and having a mother that does drugs and such. It’s not just enough to have a life story, you’ve got to do something with it stick it to the college admissions. good luck.

thanks for the advice, yea i know ive only taken 1 AP class so far but im takin another 2 next year…but thanks for bein honest

ur fine, but i dont think gettin a 2200+ is the borderline for schools like vandy and nyu, after all theyre not ivys.
i think u have a great shot, write good essays, and get over 2000 on the sat get a 2200 if it makes u happy, but only for emory i would really recommend that.

on another note, a kid from my school got into vandy, villa, w/ 2040 sats, 1-2 aps, and played ball like u. so i think u have a great shot. and again, for emory, bring up the sats.
hope i helped.

Legit GPA

ECs are ok, nothing extraordinary (unless you’re a club basketball player?).

You have volunteer work, but it’s not really alot.

As for the story, if it deeply affected you and changed your life, making you think how you do today, yes it is a great life story. If it’s something that didn’t affect you, pick another topic. But being black will help, urm ftw.

The rigor of your classes isn’t amazing though, unless those are the only APs offered at your school.

Part of it might come down to your test scores.

yea, i am varsity, and if i did live with my mom my life would be completely different, so yea it changed my life a lot
