I’m currently a sophomore in UC Berkeley and I’m planning on transferring to USC for animation. I have LCAD as a second choice, but I’d rather go to USC. I plan on reusing most of my LCAD application for USC, which will consist of character designs, expressions, stotrytelling illustrations, and figure drawing. I haven’t been able to find many examples of a USC animation portfolio, and when I called their transfer counselors, they told me that they’re only looking for “creativity.” If you applied to USC’s animation major or you know someone that did, what tips do you have for being successful?
