USC App Server

dec 1st schloarship deadline and jan regular decision

oh ok ok got it… sorry for eating ur head… hmm it means i have less than 6 hours if i want to mail it :(

i guess just keeping trying to check the server maybe it will start working thats what i am doing

yea i am refreshing it as well … no success… if it works the first thing u do is post it here :)

Oh shoot!! I just realized I had my teacher rec mailed to

USC Office of Admission
File Number 51158
Los Angeles CA 90074-1158

Instead of

USC Office of Admission
University Park Campus
Los Angeles, CA 90089-0911

The first is for the applications, the second for follow up materials which a rec would be… what can I do? Email the admissions office?

For the official score report, does purchasing one place an electronic “postmark” for that day, or does it have to be received by USC by Dec 1 (since it takes 1~2 weeks for an electronic report to process)?

funnypunjabi u dint tell … u mailed them by pressing “email us” on that page right? then it asks some details…email name USC ID etc etc … that one ?

i feel really bad for the UC people. Their time is up in 25 minutes.

i will trying to find ways to access my application, i don’t understand why we wait till the last to do everything haha cuz we are teenagers and we are lazy haha

@qwerty

As long as you place the order by December 1st, it’s fine. However, it does take a while for the scores to get to USC, so you should also fill out and mail/fax the Unofficial Score Report form to USC with copies of your scores.

TO 01234567

So if I go to UPS or USPS tomorrow before the ground service comes up to pick the mail and turn in my app, then I will be safe, correct?

@leesterrr

Yes. Double yes considering the circumstances. ;)

ok what i did was i went to the section called problems/questions and when you click on it will options like don’t worry technical problems and if you keep reading there is a link that says email just provide your email address, tell them the problem, name and sent we don’t have a usc id yet

@KevRus

Okay, that’s a HUGE relief. I’ve already sent my unofficial scores, so I’m done with that :slight_smile: Thanks.

@qwerty

No problem. Just for some comparison, it took about a week and a half after I placed my order for CollegeBoard to send my scores to Stanford. I guess CollegeBoard hasn’t heard about e-mail, which is pretty instantaneous last time I checked. ;)

my dial up internet is not helping the situation

@KevRus

You have made my day…night? I’m glad this is not the UC app (:

I think I’m going to change one of my short answer essays to a description of the stress and horror of USC’s application process and how I became a stronger person as a result.

haha that is brilliant KevRus :P

“Thanks to USC, I never procrastinate anymore!”
