<p>@bbgg was referring to past years’ threads where the acceptance emails came in close to 5 p.m. It doesn’t mean 5 p.m. exact, and they might totally switch it up this year so who really knows! haha.</p>

<p>if they’re giving you the boxes chances are you’re in, IMO. i don’t have them but i honestly just want to hear the decision already!</p>
<p>I’m guessing that since this is USC’s first year with a “common app” yield, this will also be the best year for appeals. By next year, they’ll have it figured out and be back to the usual number of successful appeals.</p>

yeah i agree, this year will be the best year for appeals. especially since a large number of of spring admits got “bumped up” to fall admission. this hopefully means more appeals will get accepted to make up for the lack of spring admits!</p>
